In the year 9001, humanity has devastated all the habitable planets in the known universe. However, on the last remaining planet, they managed to create a revolutionary space dimension device. This device allowed them to venture into a different dimension, known as Idling to Rule the Gods.

Upon their arrival on the first habitable planet, it became evident that this world operates under a completely different set of rules. It is governed by powerful deities, the gods. Without delay, the first god, Hyperion, discovered the presence of mankind and engaged them in a fierce battle. Although all humans, except for one – the player – perished during this epic clash, you emerged as the lone survivor. Throughout your survival, you developed a unique ability: the power to create shadow clones.

And so begins your journey...

You are tasked with constructing shadow clones who will train, acquire skills, and confront monsters on your behalf. As they fight and grow stronger, you gradually absorb their power until you become formidable enough to challenge Hyperion, the initial god. Upon defeating Hyperion, you will encounter an array of even more powerful deities, each demanding unique strategies to overcome. To succeed in your quest against these divine adversaries, you must discover various pathways to increase your own strength. This involves rebirth, establishing monumental structures of your own design, training loyal companions, and engaging in battles against ultimate beings.
